Also you can use ice from a machine operated ice maker or from a silicone mold but not from the freezer because it will taste like freezer

I keep burning mine to the bottom of the pan :/ Are you on the lowest heat or like around 3 from the start? Do you just need to make sure the water barely covers the bottom of the pot?

So good but once a year dish, the fats - butter, cheese alone about 500plus calories!!!
Do you cover it? I've heard covering it causes moisture to drop back in and gets rid of the delicious flavor of the seasons and extra
Think about this. As it cooks, liquid decreases. Even to the point of having to add more water. That thought process doesn't make sense to me. Your seasoning will be OK.
This actually looks like an easy starter to make in a restaurant.

No disrespect here it's just my opinion. But using SUB-PAR Tequila ( Margaritaville) that's not even 100% blue agave is not what a top shelf gold Cadillac margarita should be made with . . I suggest a higher end like a El Tesoro reposado Tequila . If it does not say on the bottle 100% blue agave its not 100% but a mix too tequila. Please don't use any pre made mixer with this top shelf margarita , use only fresh squeezed limes (accept nothing else) and add agave sweetener syrup to calm the tartness . I totally agree with your Cointreau or GM choice here . Only other thing is crushed pink Himalayan rock salt for the rim . No Orange juice added please. But at home you can make it like you want ... lime wheel ,not a orange please.

My husband cannot stand, watching cooking, shows with me where the chefs constantly say yes chef back-and-forth to each other. He drives him crazy and then he points it out to me. How over said it is and then it started to annoy me, which is annoying.🤣
